JJ’s Jazzy boy AKA Saint Paint is the farm’s resident gelding. Registered Pinto by a QH stallion and out of a pintabian mare. Jazzy is a great guy, willing to put up with whatever crazy scheme we come up with. Has pulled my husband on skies, allowed me to learn to ride sidesaddle, done parades and demos and ponied many a young horse. Trained in both English and western he will get down and simply get it done with an advanced rider. Put a beginner on him though, and he is careful and protective. A true rides for the rider kind of horse. Purchased in 1994 as a two year old. Jazzy did two military moves with us until he was donated to a handicapped riding program when we went overseas. When the program disbanded they gave him back to me. I was still overseas so I gave him to a friend for her granddaughter to learn to ride on. Just a few years ago I got a phone call that my friend couldn’t keep him anymore. So home he came and here he will stay. He is healthy, sound and happy. Still taking beginners out for rides and watching out for me when I work the young horses. I think the Arab in him just wont let him slow down! I hope it never does.
